Debbie & Anne-Marie are collaborating to bring their skills and knowledge together. Recent Conversations around the Menopause inspired Debbie to reach out to Anne-Marie who has been ploughing the field of kinesiology to assist with nutrition and all things health for your blood group type for many moons now. Debbie has been teaching Yoga Presence/Body connection, somatic authentic body movement, sound therapy, and meditation for many moons.
Om Studio was built out of Debbie's call to Yoga, non- duality, & mantra. A dedicated daily practice is a medicine if you enJOY what life is presenting out of your choosing.
Between us both we have much to share.
The Om studio brings together many like-minded people it has been in Northants since 2005. Back then there was far less talk about physical health and mind health we have grown up a lot since then in this world. Yoga has always been an advocate of such balance. The word is now definitely out, I'm grateful for the years of Yoga in my blood and bones and still there is a delicate balance for me on going.
We look at doing our best for our health - and it has always been an inside job, what do I mean when I say
that? Knowledge has to be applied - we must make the change we wish to see, and small steps do move mountains.
Both Anne-marie and Debbie realise that the menopause brings a loud call back into being a Woman with constant physical change happening, a mind- body connection that cannot be denied, one that often signifies how to make change now before one could fall victim to the bodily representations - they come in all guises. That story can be retold in my case. It's how you infer 'life's happening FOR me not TO me' and that changes everything... knowing you're doing your best and learn for that reason.
Of course the call to health comes long before menopause. Self-care through active change however big or small could change everything that lays beneath the mind -body-soul connection, and have an impact on the later years of life. So these mornings are about health persay - physical and mental health.
We welcome all ages from 18yrs.
OPENING UP SPACE AND TIME FOR YOU to make simple changes however big or small... changes which take consideration and care that only You can initially bring about. We are here to help that.
10.30am : Opening talk, how knowing your blood group type could change the way you are currently taking care of yourself.
11am: Discussing foods ~ Herbs ~ Exercise ~ Aches and pains. Notes will be taken and discussed the month after if necessary.
11.30am: We will offer a technique to take home to practice daily again changing patterns to make a difference. •Working on Meridians •Neuro-Lymphatic •Neuro-Vascular •Reset Jaw •Vagus Nerve •Breathing practices •Yoga movement for joint pain
Together we can move in a chair or stand to be fully inclusive.
You are unique and so are your needs in every which way. Which means what works for one woman will not be the same for another, with respect when it comes to feeling the best ... You do You. Anne-Marie will speak about why eating for your blood type changes things and how this research shows just that. At some point there will be a short questionnaire for information to be collected, and this will be most helpful to pitch the tone of these mornings. (If you decide to look deeper still at this there are optional one to one bookings further down the path)
These mornings are to give time out for You, to reinforce or to establish new daily habits, to make change in your life by investigating the stories and the history of your bloodline. Come find new ways to be even kinder and more understanding towards yourself.
